Hiring Entry Level and Experienced CNC Operator / Tool Die Maker in Skokie, IL

Kelly® Professional & Industrial is looking for a CNC Operator /Tool and Die Maker to work with a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets in Skokie, IL. Payrate:

  • $25.00hr.-$30.00 per hour

Shift/Schedule

  • 1st and 2nd shift
  • Overtime available, including on weekends.

Job Summary:

  • CNC Setup, Operating Mill or Turn Operator
  • Operating CNC Machine to produce metal components such as tubes or panels used for Aerospace equipment.
  • Sets up and operates machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders, to machine parts, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications.
  • Tests all newly manufacturing mechanisms
  • Partnering with the Quality team to ensure products meet inspection standards.
  • Performing standard computations relating to dimensions of work.
  • Utilizing a wide variety of precision measuring instruments such as Micrometers, Calipers, and Comparators

Requirements:

  • Have CNC Operating or Tool and Die Maker Experience
  • Have a minimum of Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Read basic measuring devices including micrometers and calipers.
  • Must be able to train for 20-60 days during a day shift.
  • Ability to interview in person.
