Job Title: Marketing Associate/Analyst

Location: SFO or NY (Remote)

W2 contract Duration: 6 months (likely to extend)

Pay: $60 - $65 per hour

About the Role

As a Marketing Associate/Analyst, you will play a crucial role in both contributing to and executing the SEM or Apps (Google App Campaigns/Apple Search Ads) campaign strategy on a global scale for Uber’s various lines of business. This includes, but is not limited to, keyword management, creative optimization, launching new campaigns, experimentation, bidding, and reporting. You will work closely with other marketing managers on the team and cross-functional partners, and you will need to clearly communicate progress to your stakeholders.

What You'll Do
  • Campaign Optimization: Execute and improve campaign optimization for different channels using our bidding automation tools.
  • Day-to-Day Management: Oversee the daily delivery and optimization of SEM and Apple campaigns, including bidding, experimentation, and reporting.
  • Strategic Translation: Understand and translate business needs into optimization strategies, with a focus on scalable execution.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and find new ways of operating, with a strong focus on productivity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in SEM and/or other paid channels within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Understanding of web and app media buying, tracking, and attribution.
  • Proficiency in Excel or SQL.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain the reasoning behind your decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with app-based businesses and developing campaign strategies for campaigns aimed at app stores and web.
  • Experience managing global campaigns.
  • Familiarity with incremental testing and experimentation.
  • Technical understanding of marketing tools and platforms.
