Job DescriptionJob Description

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model Development: Design, build, and deploy machine learning models to solve specific science scenarios.

  • Algorithm Implementation: Work closely with data scientists to implement algorithms using Microsoft Azure Machine Learning and other Microsoft AI tools.

  • Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of machine learning models to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.

  • Production Integration: Integrate machine learning solutions into production environments using Microsoft Azure services, ensuring seamless operation and functionality.

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and MLOps engineers, to deliver comprehensive AI solutions.

Technical Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure ML: Experience with Microsoft Azure Machine Learning for building and deploying models.

  • Programming Languages: Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and Java.

  • Microsoft AI Tools: Proficiency with Microsoft AI and machine learning tools (e.g., Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Databricks).

  • Data Preprocessing: Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation using Azure Data Factory.

  • Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems, such as Azure DevOps.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning engineering.

    • Proven experience in designing, building, and deploying machine learning models.

  • Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with AI projects in public health or government sectors.

  • Certifications in Microsoft Azure or AI.

Additional Requirements:

  • Travel: Must be open to one-time paid travel to pick up a badge and work laptop.

  • Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a background check.

  • Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
