Shop Helper / Receiving Associate

1st shift / Mon-Fri / 6:30 to 3:30

$18 - $21/hour (based on experience)

Greer / Duncan Area

PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced and detailed a Shop Helper on behalf of our client in the Greer / Duncan, SC area. 
This general labor person will be preforming some housekeeping, general clean-up, reorganizing of parts, relocating skids & shop equipment, as well as receiving parts, and delivering parts via pick-up truck. This job requires forklift experience.

As a Shop Helper you will:

• Assist the Technician team with:
  • Cleaning, Washing, and Prepping parts for assembly
  • Pulling housings & covers for sandblasting

 

• Help in maintaining a clean environment
  • Shop and dock cleaning & organizing
  • Supply room cleaning & organizing
  • Outside storage area organizing

 

As a Receiving Associate you will:

• Assist the shipping & receiving team with:
  • Audit received parts and enter parts into inventory
  • Assist with Picking parts
  • Deliver and pick up parts
  • Support logistics
  • Palletize rebuilt units

 

Shop Helper / Receiving Associate candidates will have:

• Dependability and Reliability - excellent attendance
• Prior experience with receiving & inventory software
• Forklift experience is a must
• Overhead crane experience is a plus (not required)
• Organized and self-starter
• Basic mechanical knowledge
