3rd shift Assembler

Pay is $18 plus $3 shift differential

Summary/Objective:

Assemblers are responsible for performing various assembly operations of plastic parts and components. While performing the duties of the position, Assemblers are responsible for maintaining a high degree of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   1. Responsible for adhering to production schedule.
  2. Responsible for creating labels for each job and run production.
  3. Providing finished skids of product to shipping department for final preparation.
  4. Maintains an open line of communication to assure all problems and changes are communicated and resolved in a timely manner.
  5. Work with co-workers and lead to ensure material inventories are maintained for uninterrupted operation.
  6. Follow all work instructions and quality control documentation.
  7. As requested, assist other team members in cross-training and conduct on the job training of other associates.
  8. Actively participates in Continuous Improvement teams and activities, including 6S & safety.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and experience required for the role.

  1. High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
  2. Knowledge of computers and scanning equipment, preferred.
  3. Must be punctual and dependable.
  4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Ability to understand written and verbal communication.
  6. Ability to work independently.
