Job DescriptionJob Description

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join a reputable Personal Injury law firm based in Addison, TX. The Paralegal will be responsible for managing various legal tasks, including drafting petitions, filing petitions, requesting citations, having defendants served, discovery, scheduling, and calendaring, trial preparation, and more. The Paralegal will contribute to the efficient functioning of the legal team and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This is an exciting opportunity with long-term potential and the opportunity to make your mark on a growing department that offers a cohesive culture and growth This client has an immediate need for a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their growing team

 

Requirements for the Litigation Paralegal:

  • Bachelor’s degree helpful
  • Paralegal certificate is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a corporate setting
  • Must have 2-4 years of experience in first party or personal injury
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in response to changing demands
  • Experience handling sensitive information with discretion

 

Compensation for the Litigation Paralegal:

  • Employment Type: Temp to hire
  • Schedule: M-F – 8am-5pm
  • Location: On site in Addison, TX
  • Benefits: offered through CornerStone while on contract and full comprehensive benefits offered once perm
