Job DescriptionJob Description
  • Responding to customer leads assigned by owner in a timely manner (call back within 24 hours).
  • Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Traveling to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
  • Providing written proposals to potential customers within 48 hours, unless otherwise pre-approved by owner for an extended deadline.
  • Accurately measuring projects to ensure proper order of materials.
  • Preparing material orders for projects, and any follow-up needed with suppliers, to ensure smooth and accurate deliveries.
  • Report on wood totals to homeowner.
  • Attempting to resolve issues with customers but communicating any issues that arise to owner (in real time, as they happen).
  • Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company services to new and existing customers.
  • Developing and maintaining positive, productive customer relationships through communication, managed expectations, and results.
  • Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts, and sales.
  • Researching competitors' products and pricing as well as market conditions.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments.
  • Upon job completion, communicate with customers to ensure that all expectations were met or exceeded.
