Powder Coating Specialist,

$17.50

1st shift

7am to 3:30pm

 Able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a consistent basis.  Parts going through the powder coating line must be lifted on and off the line, which is about clothes line height.  Large Metal Component Parts. 

To assist in the powder coating processing of products by hanging, racking and spraying parts.

  • Pretreat, clean, mask, prime and powder coat a variety of parts as needed.
  • Ensure parts are painted properly according to customer specifications while meeting all quality standards.
  • Wear a respirator as applicable to job function.

Note that when the powder coating department is slow, they will be expected to work in other areas of the shop i.e. production/general machine operating and/or packing/shipping, so you can show them the production worker job description if needed.

Pay rate is $17.50 per hour.  (Experience is in powder coating or manufacturing is a plus but not necessary.)
