Job DescriptionJob Description

Waco, Inc. located in Newport News, Virginia is currently seeking individuals for full time hourly employment with experience in; environmental remediation.

In search of an Asbestos Supervisor with a minimum of five years of supervisor experience – Asbestos Supervisor will be responsible to lead a crew to perform work necessary to remove asbestos, lead based paint and mold from buildings and structures including walls, ceilings, flooring, structural steel, boilers, piping and roofing materials in accordance with state and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing asbestos and lead paint based abatement projects as a supervisor or under direct supervision.
  • Responsible to ensure that a written pre-job implementation plan is in place and adhered to addressing existing job site hazardous conditions, emergency contacts, scope of work and procedure compliance to federal and state regulations.
  • Constructing a negative pressure enclosure in compliance with regulations.
  • Paid training and certification to include physical and licensing
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • E-Verify Verification Program
