**Sunset Strip Medical Center: Billing and Coding Specialist Wanted**

Are you passionate about precision, detail-oriented work, and contributing to the healthcare field? Sunset Strip Medical Center, located in the vibrant community of Sunrise, Florida, is seeking a talented Billing and Coding Specialist to join our dedicated team. 

**Position:** Billing and Coding Specialist  
**Location:** Sunset Strip Medical Center, Sunrise, FL  
**Type:** Full-time  

**Responsibilities:**
- Accurately assign medical codes to diagnoses and procedures for billing purposes, ensuring compliance with all relevant coding guidelines and regulations (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS).
- Review patient medical records and encounter forms to ensure documentation supports the codes billed.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and administrative staff to resolve any coding or billing discrepancies.
- Process insurance claims and diligently follow up on outstanding accounts receivable to facilitate timely payments.
- Stay informed about changes in coding regulations and insurance requirements, implementing necessary adjustments to coding practices.
- Assist with audits and provide documentation as required.

**Qualifications:**
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
- Strong grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and billing software. eCW is a plus
