Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Accounting Supervisor is responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles. The ideal candidate also has experience collaborating with a team of accountant and others as assigned. The Accounting Supervisor requires 3 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contribution. The Accounting Supervisor supports the CFO in various accounting functions including, but not limited to the following responsibilities: DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following responsibilities would characterize the requirements of this position. Must possess the skills necessary to perform the majority of the listed functions:
 1.       Supporting the CFO with workflow process improvement and pursuing special projects2.       Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations3.       Responding to inquiries from CFO with various accounting and financial functions4.       Monitoring and analyzing the financial department to develop more efficient procedures and proper use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy5.       Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement6.       Participate in regular direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance7.       Create and analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation8.       Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports9.       Comply with all federal, state, and local protocols including legal requirements10.    Play a vital part in the company's financial management which includes all account reconciliations and reporting to necessary parties11.    Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments12.    Maintaining accurate financial records13.    Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule14.    Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable15.    Analyze financial information and summarize financial status16.    Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process17.    Support month-end and year-end close process18.    Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement19.    Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department20.    Making sure members of the accounting team meet all financial reporting deadlines21.    Handling personnel issues that relate to absenteeism, staff performance, and staff conflict22.    Perform other related duties as assigned  REQUIREMENTS: Competencies1.       Bilingual in Mandarin is preferred2.       Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 2+ years accounting/bookkeeping experience 3.       Advanced working knowledge of accounting software and EPR System4.       Strong written and verbal communication skills5.       Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail6.       Strong problem-solving skills7.       Ability to work independently with little supervision8.       Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities9.       Ability to work under pressure and deal with complex issues 10.   Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines

11.   Highly detail-oriented and organized 

12.   Familiarity with accounting software and programs13.   Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) 
 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1.       Ability to sit for extended hours2.       Ability to view a computer screen and type for extended hours3.       Other physical requirements include occasional squatting, bending, and twisting4.       Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require
