We are looking for a Direct Care Worker to join our team and provide support to elderly residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assistance with daily activities, personal care, and recreational activities. The Direct Care Worker must be patient, understanding, and have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will also have experience working with residents with disabilities and a commitment to providing quality care. We are willing to train people with little to no experience as well. Also, CNA certification is not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting.
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and medication administration.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to residents.
- Monitor the health and safety of residents.
- Document observations and changes in the residents condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the residents.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members.
Shift:
- Full Time
- 40 hours
- Weekends as need and be flexible with schedule.
