Job Summary
Pittsburgh, PA | Lawrenceville- Start Date: January 6, 2025
- Hours: Tuesday 8am-6pm, Wednesday 7am-6pm, Thursday 7am-5pm, Friday 8am-5pm; Guaranteed 40 hours/week
- Hourly Rate: $27-30
- Children: 4 month old

Responsibilities and Duties
- WHO/WHAT: Are you a master collaborator who’s eager to share your infant experience and team up with the parents on all aspects of their baby’s care? Do you love Mondays off, minimal housekeeping, pizza, and backing things up with science? (Okay, we’ll forgive you if you don’t love pizza.) These two medical professionals are about to become first-time parents, and they want to find a superb long-term fit. Mom and Dad seek a team member to fully trust and that they don’t have to micromanage. You’ll work Tuesdays to Fridays, starting between 7 am and 8 am and finishing by 6 pm. Mom has her practice inside the home and will be too busy to get in your way. She also travels every couple of months for short business trips. This is when you’ll have to be flexible with your schedule, please, to accommodate Dad who works in rotations at the hospital. During your shift, you’ll hold, comfort, feed, burp, change, and guide the bambino’s naptime. While the youngster is awake, you’ll combine your experience and creativity to engage the curious kiddo through a variety of activities for amusement and development. You’ll sing songs, read books, tickle tummies, and teach letters, shapes, textures, and colors. While the tiny bundle of joy sleeps, you’ll help with the baby’s laundry, washing bottles, making sure nursery supplies are stocked, and tackle some light tidying up. There are no pets, no allergies, you don’t need to know how to swim, but please be up to date on all your vaccines and safety certifications. You’ll also need to drive using your own vehicle to take the baby to medical appointments and out for fun excursions.
