Available Shifts:

1st Shift:    8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday

Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for maintaining facilities plumbing, HVAC and general upkeep. The Facilities Maintenance Technician  should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Job duties include:

  • Electrical, plumbing, hvac and building maintenance
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Working on exhaust fan systems
  • Working on plumbing such as repairing and replacing sinks, faucets and toilets
  • Working on electrical such as lighting and receptacles
  • Working on split system A/C units, VAV boxes, fan coil units and chiller systems

Facilities Maintenance Technician Requirements:

  • Preventive maintenance
  • Work orders
  • Hvac, plumbing and electrical work
  • Knowledge of chiller systems a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in building maintenance a must
  • Ability to be on-call
  • Ability to work nights/weekends if needed
  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders and walk without limitations for up to 8hrs a day
  • Handling of equipment weighing 50lbs – 100lbs
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks
  • Must be reliable and able to pass drug screen/background check
