We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of School Locksmith, ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical and electrical locking devices across our district. Main Responsibilities:
Execute installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on locks throughout the district to ensure the security of our facilities.
Conduct maintenance and repairs on doors, troubleshooting and diagnosing systemic lock and hardware issues to ensure optimal functionality.
Utilize hand tools to disassemble mechanical or electrical locking devices, replacing worn parts and ensuring proper functioning.
Cut new or duplicate keys using specialized cutting machines, and re-key and program locks for district fleet doors, ignitions, and side panels.
Requirements:
Valid Colorado Driver's License
Minimum of four (4) years' experience or training in locksmithing.
Candidates must meet the district's insurability standards.
Must be willing to submit to thorough background check, including fingerprinting
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
