Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client, a leading electrical contractor, is searching for a talented Jr Estimator to join their team working on a large scale construction project in Westwood. Qualified candidates please email your resume displayed.
Must have experience doing the following:
- Review and understand contract specifications, documents & drawings to perform takeoff’s accurately
- Performs plan measurements to develop and/or verify quantity estimates
- Stay apprised of industry standard software including researching and reviewing new technologies to expedite the takeoff process
- Communicate with Engineering Consultants and Designers to coordinate information digitally to complete takeoff’s
- Occasional project site visits and pre-bid meeting attendance
- Special projects as necessary
- Assist with other estimating duties as assigned
