ENTRY LEVEL ROLE / HYBRID POSITION
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a member of the Finance team this role performs, accounting and financial duties in response to institutional requirements. This role will provide technical support for accounting and financial systems, maintain integrity of financial data, and maintain financial compliance in systems and reporting.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Prepare and post journal entries to support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Complete monthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts.
- Complete Daily Cash and CC Reconciliation for PMS System
- Maintain reporting to support company operations.
- Record ACH Transactions in AP Module ; AP Back up
- Research and reconcile over/short deposits.
- Month End Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts
- Develop interdepartmental relationships to aid in researching and resolving cash related issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors in Accounting or equivalent work experience and working toward degree
- Detail orientated and self review minded
- 2-3 years’ experience in an accounting office
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong Guest Service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft office, including Excel, and accounting systems – Navision helpful
