Role and Responsibilities

North Carolina Health Partners is looking to hire a Licensed Therapist to serve as the Intensive In-Home (IIH) Team Lead. The Team Lead will supervise a team of 2 Qualified Professionals. This candidate should have at least 2 years of experience serving children and families within the community. Summary of Position Responsibilities:

The IIH Team Lead provides therapeutic sessions to consumers and families based on identified needs. The Team Lead is responsible for maintaining an Intensive In-Home treatment team caseload and providing Outpatient Therapy as needed, to consumers transitioning out of IIH. The Intensive In-Home Team Lead will maintain a caseload of 12 consumers between the ages of 5-17. As the IIH Team Lead, you will also be responsible for completing Comprehensive Clinical Assessments and Person-Centered Plans for consumers entering services.

Position Specific Information

This position will be housed at NC Health Partners Winston-Salem office, but your role will require community work and travel. The position hours are Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with weekend availability as needed.

Essential Duties:

  • Providing individual and family therapy to consumers
  • Providing and coordinating assessments and reassessments
  • Provide clinical insight and guidance to the IIH team members
  • Supporting the client in the development of various skill-building activities, including daily and community living skills, socialization skills, adaptation skills, and behavior and anger management
  • After-hour crisis support
  • Performing and/or assisting with Case Management functions of linking and arranging for services and referrals to ensure consumer continuity of care
  • Review IIH team service notes daily

Job Types: Full-Time

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday (Weekend availability as needed for consumer crisis needs)

Education & Training:

  • Master's (Required)
  • 2 years of experience working with children (Required)
  • Motivational Interviewing Training-13 Hour Course (Highly Preferred)
  • Systems of Care-11 Hour Course (Preferred)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-24 Hour Course (Preferred)
  • Person-Centered Thinking-12 Hour Course (Preferred)

License/Certification: LMSW, LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, LPC

  • Active Clinical License to practice in NC (Required)
  • If you are a provisional licensed professional, you must have a board-approved supervisor to provide therapy services
  • BLS/CPR Training with Seizure and Blood Borne pathogen training (Required within the first 30 days of hire)

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid NC driver’s license
  • Able to successfully pass a criminal background check and urine screen
