Job DescriptionJob Description

We are now hiring Journeyman level painters to take on full-time, long-term work in a large, commercial facility.

This person will be in charge of applying paint and epoxy on a variety of new construction and maintenance jobs throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by using sandpaper, scraping, and removing old paint
  • Work with other construction professionals, such as carpenters, electricians and plumbers
  • Protect all nearby furnishings and building materials before and during every painting job, including carpets, cabinetry, outlet covers, lighting fixtures, and landscaping
  • Collaborate with other professional painters on larger jobs
  • Practice self-supervision on small jobs and ensure you complete each project in an efficient, timely manner
  • Match paint samples for touch-ups and other small projects


Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional painting
  • Experience applying epoxy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
