Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDEKA is looking for a PCB Rework Specialist who is a motivated self-starter, requires minimal direction, and works well within multi-disciplinary teams.  The individual will be working across several projects and must be able to communicate challenges and priorities effectively. The individual must be able to multi-task while remaining composed and efficient in a rapidly changing engineering environment.

How you will make an impact:
  • Electronic assembly and rework in an R&D environment
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment, such as soldering stations, microscopes, and multimeters, to perform precise rework tasks
  • Skillfully rework and repair PCBs, including component replacement, solder touch-ups, and board-level modifications
  • Carefully inspect PCBs for defects, such as damaged components, solder issues, and trace discontinuities. 
  • Assembly of cable assemblies
  • Maintain a clean rework area and perform set-up/maintenance
Skills you will need to be successful in this role:
  • Must have excellent PCB soldering/rework skills
  • Great written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of basic electronic components
  • Familiar with CAD tools ( Pads, Altium, Solidworks) a plus
  • Able to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and identify a part on PCB from a marked-up Schematic
  • High school diploma
  • Certified solder technician
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
