Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Meat Cutter/Service Counter Associate to join our team You will be responsible for cutting the meat case, grinding, making sausage and meat department inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily cutting of meat for the retail case
  • Grind beef for burger and other cuts for sausage and brats.
  • Fill and link fresh sausage and brats
  • Interact with and support other store personnel
  • Facilitate resolution of any meat department customer complaints

​Qualifications:

  • Meat cutting of sub-primals both bone-in and boneless
  • Sausage making experience
  • Knowledge of cuts of beef, pork, lamb, veal and poultry
  • Knowledge of fish and seafood desirable but not necessary
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or other related fields
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
