Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting & Outreach

    • Identify potential customer prospects & key contact stakeholders

    • Cold outreach, including LinkedIn, email & phone

    • Schedule introductory/qualification meetings

    • Invite/encourage trade show attendance to customers

    • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of marketing strategies

  • Qualification & Discovery

    • Conduct qualification meetings to determine cultural & financial alignment

    • Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality & campaign effectiveness (including success stories)

    • Schedule discovery meetings with “sales qualified leads.”

    • Lead a thoughtful and engaging discovery meeting

  • Proposals/Quoting & Closing

    • Help build custom proposals/quotes

    • Present custom proposals/quotes (live)

    • Negotiate and secure final commitment

    • Nurture relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction

Required Experience:

  • Sales Success: achieving sales targets, cultivating client relationships, and closing deals.

  • Selling to the C-suite: successfully engaging with senior executives while taking & maintaining control of the sales process

  • Selling complex services: understanding their business challenges and delivering value-added solutions

  • CRM experience: experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.

Desired Experience:

  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the food manufacturing industry (3-5 years), including market trends, competitive landscape, and client needs.

Compensation:

  • Based on experience
