Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have experience with pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, particularly within a packaging or food production environment. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines, minimizing downtime, and maintaining our commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all production equipment, including pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize production downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to enhance equipment reliability and extend its lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure equipment operates efficiently and meets all regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and equipment status.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
  • Continuously improve maintenance processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience as a maintenance technician in a packaging or food production environment. (Ideally 3+)
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems (preferred), including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work 2nd or 3rd shift, including weekends and holidays as needed.
