Tech Castings - First Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician/Lead

Tech Castings is a leader in Aerospace Investment Casting with a steadfast commitment to investing in the best business tools and equipment available. We have grown revenue in every year of our existence since 2011 working with OEM’s including GE Aerospace, Rolls Royce and Honeywell and recently completed a 5-million-dollar expansion.

A Maintenance Engineer with Tech Castings will lead and drive maintenance duties including Preventative Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Repair of Machines, Installation of new equipment and a variety of other maintenance duties.

What you'll get to do:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
  • Inspect equipment for potential problems and identify necessary repairs.
  • Lubricate machinery, adjust components, order and install/replace worn parts.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and identify the root cause of issues.
  • Perform repairs on faulty equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Participate in plant improvement projects and equipment upgrades including:
    • Assisting with the installation of new equipment and machinery.
    • Identify areas of process improvement for preventing future issues.
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
    • Identify and report potential safety hazards.
    • Participate in safety training programs.

What will make you successful:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Strong understanding of preventative maintenance principles and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
