Responsibilities: - Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties - Perform routine inspections to identify leaks, clogs, or other issues with the irrigation system - Adjust sprinkler heads and valves to ensure proper water distribution - Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers - Dig trenches and install pipes for irrigation system installation or repair - Collaborate with landscape designers and contractors to ensure proper irrigation system design and installation - Monitor weather conditions and adjust irrigation schedules accordingly - Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Requirements: - Previous experience in lawn care, garden maintenance, or landscape irrigation preferred - Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate power tools for installation and repair tasks - Strong understanding of irrigation system components and their functions - Ability to dig trenches, lay pipes, and build irrigation systems as needed - Knowledge of different types of sprinkler heads and their applications - Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in landscape maintenance - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently or as part of a team Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
