Position Overview:
One of the largest groups of gastroenterology physicians in New Jersey is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner. The ideal candidate will have previous work experience as a Nurse Practitioner and a valid NP license in the state of New Jersey. Experience providing comprehensive care to patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments, examinations, and medical histories.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the gastroenterology physicians.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed.
- Coordinate and participate in patient education and counseling.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care across the medical office and hospital settings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New Jersey.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- GI experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule between the medical office and hospital.
