Fitter

Manufacturing facility located in Northwest area, needs a Fitter for 1st Shift. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a great company that provides precision machining, fabrication, and mechanical assemblies. This is a temp to hire position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensuring Compliance with company Safety Regulations and Guidelines.
• Perform Inspection on Pipes and Flanges, reporting non-conformance to Lead or Supervisor.
• Read and interpret Blueprints / Drawings. Be prepared to test to show basic understanding Blueprints / Drawings and demonstrate basic math skills.
• Must be able to use and maintain specialized machines and tools.
• Assist with or perform Mig/Tig and other types of welding procedures depending on project requirements as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be Bilingual – English and Spanish
• Highschool Diploma
• Must Provide your own PPE – Steel Toe Shoes.
• Tools required, welding hood and gloves.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Commuting should be no greater than 25 miles to work.
