Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines
- Read blueprints, sketches
- Verify dimensions of finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
```Requirements```
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and processes
- Proficient in the use of various machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and CNC machines
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and practices
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
- Ability to fabricate and modify parts using manual or automated tools
- Proficiency in using bore gauges, micrometers, and test indicators for accurate measurements
-Welding Tig & Mig experience is a plus
-Must have at least three years of experience in a machine shop environment
-Relocation bonus available to well-qualified applicants
