Job Description: Pipe Fitter (Hydraulics)/Machine Builder - Assembly Department

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter (Hydraulics)/Machine Builder to join our assembly department. This role involves assembling and fitting hydraulic systems and machinery components according to specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both pipe fitting and machine building, with a focus on precision and quality in assembly processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit hydraulic systems and machinery components based on engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform pipe fitting tasks including cutting, threading, bending, and welding of pipes as required.
  • Ensure proper alignment, fit, and functionality of components during assembly.
  • Test and troubleshoot assembled machinery to ensure proper operation and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve assembly issues and optimize processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter and/or Machine Builder, ideally in an assembly or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and fittings.
  • Experience with pipe fitting techniques such as cutting, threading, bending, and welding.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to meet quality standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Additional technical education or certification in pipe fitting, hydraulics, or machine building is a plus.
