Job Title: Level 4 Central Office/Data Center Installer

Location: On the Road (fly out first Monday and fly back third Friday)

Duration: Full time

Job Description: Installation of Telco / MSO network equipment (OEM’s will primarily be Juniper 4300, Ciena 6500 and Waveserver (WSAi/WS5), Infinera G42 in a POP or Data Center environment. Locations may also include Huts, POP’s, Repeater sites, etc. that are part of the end client’s national or regional network.

2. Performing GR-1275 / TP76300 based Installation tasks, including but not limited to telco rack mounting, superstructure modification as needed, Rack and Stack: PDU installation, shelf mounting, grounding, alarm and inter-bay cable connections, power lug crimping / connections, Cat6 runs and connections, fiber jumper installation, cleaning, scoping, recording results and power verification.

3. Will use Brady BMP61 labeler to cable all fiber, Cat 6 and copper cables.

4. Light Testing / configuration of the OEM equipment. Using test equipment for basic configuration (laptop - IP addressing & setup, Optical Power Meter, Fiberscope, Voltmeter, Cat 6 tester, etc.) Working remotely with OEM and / or carrier NOC teams for connectivity to system and handoff for more detailed network provisioning and configuration.

5. 100% travel from jobsite to jobsite, may include night shift work with periodic trips home for a break. Company paid per diem / flights / rental vehicles as needed.

6. Primary field point of contact at the job site level for LTS PM, client’s site contacts, material / tool needs, overseeing of any other techs on site to ensure LTS is represented professionally, and the job is completed correctly and on time.

Job duties as follows:

1.
