Our growing, multi-office CPA firm is seeking a skilled full-time Junior Accountant. Candidate can expect to work with our business clients providing various accounting tasks. Candidate should have a firm grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations and possess strong computer, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations
• Working directly with clients on Quickbooks and other financial accounting software
• Compiling, reconciling, analyzing and reporting financial data
• Creating periodic reports such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and statements of equity, etc.
• Presenting data to managers and clients
• Resolving discrepancies
• Perform data entry and administrative duties

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or related field
• Experience with Quickbooks Online and Desktop versions
• Strong Excel experience
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
• Understanding of accounting and financial processes
• Ethical behavior
• Deadline and detail oriented
