Industrial Painter - Conveyor Systems - Night Shift

Join a dynamic team specializing in material handling solutions as an experienced Industrial Painter. You will be responsible for painting a wide range of conveyor systems, from Chain Driven Live Roller (CDLR) to Motor Driven Roller (MDR), as well as plastic belt, chain, and gravity conveyors. This night shift position focuses on applying high-quality coatings and finishes to ensure durability and precision in our tailored, innovative designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough surface preparation, including sanding, masking, and priming before applying finishes.
  • Apply specialized coatings using spray guns and other painting tools on systems such as zero-pressure pallet conveyors designed for heavy-duty applications like automotive parts and industrial materials.
  • Ensure thickness and coverage meet required specifications, with attention to detail for high-performance material handling systems.
  • Conduct detailed inspections to verify paint quality and surface integrity, adjusting as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to maintain efficiency during the night shift while adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain and clean painting equipment, ensuring consistent output and compliance with OSHA safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise as an Industrial Painter in a manufacturing or industrial setting, with experience painting conveyor systems or similar heavy-duty equipment.
  • Knowledge of various coating applications, paint mixtures, and surface treatment techniques.
  • Ability to work independently during the night shift with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with custom and complex conveyor systems is a plus.
