The LAZ Banquet Hospitality silo is a unique team within LAZ Parking dedicated to growth through operational and financial excellence.  The Hospitality team specializes in Hotel Partnerships nationwide and excels at developing relationships through training, human connection, and career development for our employees and partners.  

The Spirit of the Position:

To maintain kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.

What Will I Do?

• Sweeps and mops the floor once every hour as needed.
• Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on a conveyor to the dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays by hand. Runs glasses through dish machine twice.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Separates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers; steam-cleans or hoses-out garbage cans.
• Sorts bottles and breaks disposable ones in bottle-crushing machines.
• Polishes silver using a burnishing machine tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth, if required.
• Supplies and equipment are transferred between storage and work areas by hand or using a hand truck.
• Set up banquet tables when required.
• Wash and peel vegetables using a knife or peeling machine when required.
• Puts away all clean utensils; puts away & rotates stock in designated areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Use hands to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy.
• Understand simple instructions.
• Learn simple procedures and techniques.
• Perform routine work or the same task repeatedly.
• Understands OSHA regulations.

Job Skills:

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Industry experience is preferred but not required.

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
