Food Service Associate in Augusta, GA. The Food Service Associate is responsible for assisting in the successful operation of a dining service location and to help ensure client satisfaction.

Duties of this position include

  • Supervising daily food production to ensure that standards of quality are being met consistently.
  • Supervising multiple menus and specific diets and have strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds
  • Slice meats
  • Brew coffee and teas
  • Clean work areas, kitchen tools, equipment, dishes, utensils.
  • Store packaged and stored food supplies
  • Make food for customer orders
  • Prepare food according to recipe
  • Package food for take-out
  • Serve food to customers
  • Portion out food for packaging and plates
  • Keep food on food warmers for serving
  • Weigh and measured ingredients
  • Help cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks * Bring cooks with needed items
  • Wash and peeled/cut foods to prepare for cooking and serving
  • Keep a safe work areas
