Storm Search is supporting a client with a direct hire search for a Truck/Trailer Mechanic in the Warren, OH area
What's in it for you?
- Monday - Friday Day shift (7am-3pm)
- $23-30/hr depending on experience
- Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a flexible Preventative Maintenance system, adapting as needed.
- Modify equipment with approval; document changes.
- Manage spare parts warehouse for quick access to consumables.
- Perform PMs, ensure equipment lifespan, and conduct DOT inspections.
- Oversee and ensure timely truck/trailer repairs; coordinate with vendors.
- Review equipment inspections daily; address issues promptly.
- Train operators on equipment use; report deviations.
- Follow safety rules and company procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certification or Associate's in Maintenance/Technology
- 2-5 years repairing trucks/trailers
- Diesel Mechanic and DOT Inspection Training experience
- Certified/Journeyman Electrician
