Job Description: The UPS Center Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to retail customers by efficiently handling packages and processing courier shipments. This role involves operating equipment such as copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminators, and point-of-sale devices while providing expertise on our products, services, and best-value options.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver top-quality customer service to both in-person and over-the-phone customers.
  • Prioritize good listening skills when engaging with customers, colleagues, and leaders at the UPS Store.
  • Take charge of clients' shipping needs and offer feasible solutions.
  • Show initiative in understanding all of the organization's products and services, using available resources, and communicating with clients effectively.
  • Handle all types of equipment, software, and technological devices with high skill and enthusiasm for coaching others.
  • Maintain a tidy and secure work environment.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
  • Outstanding phone skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, including excellent spelling and mathematical skills.
  • Consistent, punctual, and responsible.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads weighing 40 pounds or more.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Competitive hourly rate

Expected Hours: Varies based on the needs of the store
