Swoon is seeking a skilled Compensation Consultant for one of its clients, a big name in the Financial Services Industry.

  • Location - Remote
  • Pay rate - 45+$ per hour, 40 hours a week

**Job Summary:**

The Compensation Analyst assumes a pivotal role in bolstering company-wide compensation programs. They are tasked with administering and executing programs, policies, and processes pertaining to compensation. Furthermore, they offer counsel on base pay management, conduct thorough market analyses, and collaborate closely with senior team members to advise HR Consultants and business leaders on compensation-related matters.

**Major Responsibilities:**

- **Consultative Support:** Collaborate with Compensation Consultants and serve as an internal consultant to HR Consultants and business leadership on compensation matters, as needed. 

- **Global Year-End Process:** Assist in orchestrating the global year-end process, encompassing project management, stakeholder training and communication, reporting, analytics, and audits. 

- **External Salary Survey:** Participate in the annual external salary survey data gathering and submission on behalf of the company, analyzing the findings to glean insights. 

- **Job Description Management:** Oversee the job description library and take ownership of the organization’s salary survey database, offering recommendations on job evaluation processes and methodology. 

- **Salary Administration Programs:** Aid in the development and upkeep of salary administration programs, including crafting salary structures, merit and promotional guidelines, and short-term incentives.

- **Job Evaluation and Market Analysis:** Conduct meticulous job evaluations, comprehensive market analyses, and develop precise job descriptions aligned with industry best practices. 

- **Project Support:** Provide assistance on Compensation-related projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional partners.

**Skills:**

- Proficient in compensation program administration and implementation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent project management abilities, including stakeholder coordination and communication.
- Familiarity with salary survey data collection and analysis.
- Solid understanding of job evaluation methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in job description creation and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for consultation and support.
- Flexibility and adaptability in handling various compensation-related tasks and projects.
