Seeking senior level IT Manager to head up our IT Division.

 

The ideal candidate is an expert in all areas of IT including Website Design and maintenance and E-Commerce. You will be responsible for making sure our Website is world class and working perfectly.

 

Our website is the cornerstone of our business. It consists of a “public area” and a “members only” area.

 

Our website is where our members can join our “community” as well as access hundreds of thousands of hours of audio and video personal development training.

 

Our site is also translated into multiple languages as we have members in over 100 countries speaking many different languages.

 

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the technology systems and infrastructure of our company. You

will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT systems to support our operations and growth initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the company's IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications.
  2. Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure the security, integrity, and availability of company data and technology assets.
  3. Manage the deployment, configuration, administration and backup of servers, workstations, databases, and other IT infrastructure components.
  4. Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of web technologies
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to identify technology needs and requirements and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  6. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and systems to improve business processes and support strategic initiatives.
  7. Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and project management.
  8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to IT security, data protection, and privacy.
  9. Manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and consultants, ensuring quality of service and value for money.
  10. Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in technology and assess their potential impact on the company's IT strategy and operations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a similar role, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting.
  • Strong technical knowledge and expertise in IT infrastructure, systems administration, web management, and network security.
  • Proficiency in managing IT platforms, tools, and technologies, regardless of specific vendors or platforms.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership, conflict management, resilience, and team management abilities, with experience leading IT teams and projects.
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills, including organization, planning, and priority management.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, MCSE, or PMP are desirable but not required.
  • A passion for personal and professional development, with a commitment to continuous learning and growth.
