NSC Staffing is currently hiring Marine Painter/Blasters for work in Pascagoula, MS. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years industrial sandblasting or painting/spraying experience.

Pay: $29.61 + $48 Per Diem in

Marine Painter / Blaster Job Requirement:

· Painting external Ship Surfaces, including hulls, decks, and houses

· Painting internal surfaces ship board

· Brush rolling, and prepping surfaces.

· Prepares the materials and parts prior to blasting and painting.

· Operates sandblasting equipment to clean, remove corrosion or other contaminants on materials. Applies coat of paint to exterior surfaces of marine barge using a variety of tools including airless spray gun and related equipment.

· Ensure complete surface coverage designated in the specifications.

· Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

· Ability to apply various paint coatings on ships

· Experience painting US Government vessels helpful

· 3 + years industrial sandblasting or painting/spraying experience

· Proven experience working in a heavy industrial environment preferred

· Ideal candidate possesses the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers

· Motivated to continuously improve and learn new skills
