Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWork directly for a growing Central New Jersey area full service contract filler product primarily used in the personal care industry.

Batch Compounder:

Purpose of Position
The Compounders prepare the manufacturing of batches for cGMP regulated products.

Scope
Applies to the individuals titled, authorized, and assigned to make decisions as a Compounder regarding the manufacture of batches to be used in production of products.

Responsibilities& Main Activities

The Compounder reports to the Production Supervisors.
Must be adequately trained for all aspects of their duties.
Understanding of the production requirements of the item being filled, quality control criteria, chemicals being used, and the Work
-In
-Process items.
The ability to properly use tools and measuring devices to complete the work associated with manufacturing batches.
A clear understanding of the use, storage, partitioning (that is, isolating chemicals in order to prevent cross
-contamination) and mixing of chemicals, in the batching process.
Must understand the written procedures associated with the batch manufacturing work order and the related implications with both cGMP regulations and product quality.
Adequate training with the cleaning and sanitization procedures for equipment related to the performance of his job function.

Knowledge

Knowledge of Hazardous Waste Materials
