Founded by President and Chief Psychologist, Adam S. Weissman, Ph.D., CFI and WCF strive to break down generations-old, nationwide barriers to accessing high quality mental healthcare in underserved communities.
Director of Development
CFI is currently accepting applications for a part-time or full-time Director of Development. This position is ideal for a non-profit executive interested in gaining experience in non-profit development and private practice management (with the potential to supplement with a part-time clinical caseload, if both licensed and interested). This is a hybrid position with a great deal of autonomy that includes periodic in-person events in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and/or Westchester, New York.
Qualifications
Required:
Non-profit development, grant-writing, and/or fundraising experience.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team effectively.
Commitment to the mission and values of CFI and WCF.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
Experience in strategic event planning and internal communications.
Ability to foster partnerships with other healthcare providers, community organizations, donors, and stakeholders.
Optional:
Strong knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based treatment modalities.
Current licensure as a mental health professional in New York State (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent).
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, including direct practice with clients.
At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a clinical setting.
Ability to balance multiple responsibilities with managing a clinical caseload.
Strong understanding of human resources management, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
Compensation
This is an independent contractor position. Full-time salary ranging from $75,00 to $125,00 annually, commensurate with experience with substantial opportunities for growth.
