We are looking to add an EXPERIENCED SANDBLASTER / OPERATOR to our in-house industrial coatings operation. In a 60' enclosed booth, we prepare crane parts, truck frames, heavy equipment, service truck bodies etc. for paint. In addition to sandblasting, the operator will perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance on the air compressor, daily emptying of the dust collector, and maintain PPE/Blast hood. Operator will often load/unload the blast booth unassisted using forklifts, and be responsible for safely staging items on stands and racks for blasting.
We are seeking a RELIABLE person who can keep up with our fast production schedules. This position is very physically demanding. PPE and equipment is provided. Training will be on the job.
Schedule is M-F, 6am-3pm.
