Job DescriptionJob Description

Position Summary:

The Thermal Processing/Retort Assistant will report to the Retort Supervisor and is responsible for completing all duties and tasks assigned to them.

Creating shelf stable product for our value customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Pressure cooking product for commercial sterilization

Operate basket transferring system

Understanding of retort machine and able to identify any issues if needed

Maintain accurate documentation

Assist in cooking process as needed under supervision of Retort Supervisor

Assist in verifying retort process by completing paperwork required for filing

Other duties as assigned, includes assisting in various production areas on an as needed basis

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICAITONS:

Must be able to read and understand technical instructions

Ability to Multi-task

Detail oriented person required for this position

Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner

Capable of lifting/pushing up to 40 lbs.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching

Must always wear personal protective equipment

Participates actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions

Company DescriptionIn 2015, our founder started making nitro cold brew out of his garage. Noticing that this was something new to the coffee game he made his own brand. He then bought the equipment necessary to produce his coffee in mass quantities. It was then when he found a gap in the coffee industry, so he decided to bridge that gap with Bev-Hub. Bev-Hub specializes in processing, filling, retorting, and packaging beverages for outside customers.
