Job DescriptionJob Description

We are a growing company seeking and accepting applications for skilled Marine Mechanic/ Technicians to join our team, that is currently under new management. As a marine technician, you will be responsible for the repairs, maintenance, and installation of marine vessels. Experience in Mercury, Mercruiser, and Yamaha. systems along with equipment This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the smooth operations of marine vessels.

Duties:

  • Technicians will be responsible for providing their own tools.
  •   Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on marine engines, electrical systems, and propulsion systems.
  •   Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  •   Conduct inspections and tests to ensure proper functioning of marine systems.         
  • Install and test marine equipment such as navigational systems, and communication devices.       
  • Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications for repairs and installations.       
  • Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Ensure that time is properly documented and charged against appropriate boat and work order.
  • Maintain a spotless and clutter free work area.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and sanitation policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or required.
  • The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical, or other various systems on a trailer.

Required Education and Experiences:

 High School Diploma or equivalent:

  • 5 years’ experience preferred.
  • Previous experience with boat engines is needed.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets.
  • Reliable with good time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must enjoy working outdoors.
  • Driver’s License
  • Mercury and Yamaha certified.
  • Yamaha and Mercury Product Training.
  •  Factory Training Opportunities

  •  Recertification available

Pay:

  •  $30-40 hour

Job Schedule:

  •   Full-Time Employment

Schedule:

  •    Monday -Friday 7:30am-4pm
