Packaging Engineer

 

Packaging Engineer Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·         Create parts and assembly drawings, layouts and schematics using SOLIDWORKS design software for supervisor’s, or customer’s approval.

·         Create accurate bill of materials (BOMs) for parts and assemblies for supervisor’s approval.

·         Update drawings and layouts using established procedure.

·         Provide support to production on design work.

·         Provide layouts, drawings, and other aids to support Sales, as requested.

·         Maintain and update relative databases.

·         Create renderings of units for customers and the Shop Floor.

·         Operate the CNC Table for cutting foam and plastic parts for assembly in Production.

·         Assist in everyday engineering and quality duties as required by supervisor.

·         Complete all work in accordance with standard engineering principles and practices, and the ISO 9001:2015 standard.

·         Innovate beyond the scope of official responsibility.

 

Packaging Engineer requirements:

·         Must have valid driver’s license. There will be occasional domestic and international travel to job sites.

·         Must have a relevant Bachelor’s Degree
