We are committed to exceeding our clients' expectations by enhancing the beauty and value of every property we touch. We are currently seeking a skilled Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Job Description:

Lawn Maintenance Foreman will be responsible for managing a small crew of 2-4 team members and maintaining various commercial properties. This includes but is not limited to mowing, weed treatment and regular irrigation system testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions, and have a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a crew of 2-4 landscape maintenance team members, ensuring their safety, productivity, and quality of work
  • Performing routine lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, weeding, and garden bed weed treatment
  • Applying fertilizers and pesticides according to safety instructions and scheduling
  • Operating and maintaining equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers
  • Adhering to company standards and procedures, while constantly striving to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our services
  • Communicating effectively with clients, management, and team members
  • Performing daily equipment checks and minor repair work
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with local regulations and environmental guidelines

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent. A degree in horticulture or a related field is a plus
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within a commercial landscaping environment
  • Proficiency in using landscaping equipment, power tools, and hand tools
  • Knowledge of local plants, grasses, and trees, as well as the pests and diseases that affect them
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting heavy items and working in all weather conditions
  • Certified Pesticide Applicator’s license is a plus
