Job DescriptionJob Description

Wanted: An experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 consumer bankruptcy. We represent people who need to file for bankruptcy, not corporations or creditors. You must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), to communicate with real people and handle their financial problems. You must know how to work as part of a team and be self-motivated.

A working knowledge of Bestcase and CMECF filing is required. If you have no relevant bankruptcy experience please do not apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings
  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
  • Client correspondence and retention
  • Record and store client information

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field (3-5 Years)
  • Familiarity with legal research
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
