From recommending top-tier insulation methods like spray foam and blown-in insulation to suggesting the best in heating and cooling solutions, you'll be pivotal in guiding homeowners toward smarter energy choices and a more sustainable future. Responsibilities:
As a Home Energy Specialist Sales Representative, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct Residential Energy Audits: Utilize your expertise to assess the energy efficiency of homes. Travel to and from your residence to company-generated pre-qualified appointments with homeowners within the Long Island area (no cold calling or door knocking)
- Educate Homeowners: Inform homeowners about the benefits of energy efficiency upgrades tailored to their specific needs.
- Sell Energy Efficiency Upgrades: Offer solutions such as insulation, air sealing, heat pumps, gas boilers, and furnaces. Act as the local, on-site representative to customers, guiding them through the program and addressing any concerns or questions. Travel within a defined territory to reach potential customers and clients in Long Island.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Successful Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales is essential.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and an Associate Degree is preferred.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with using computers and smartphone applications. Transportation: Reliable transportation is a must to travel within your defined territory.
