Responsibilities of the Tax Manager:

As our Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing our tax operations. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading and supervising tax preparation, planning, and consulting services for clients

  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and deadlines

  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff members

  • Collaborating with the team to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency

  • Building and nurturing client relationships through exceptional service and strategic advice

  • Staying abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations to advise clients effectively

Requirements:

  • CPA license or on track to obtain one

  • Proven experience in tax preparation and planning, preferably in a public accounting firm

  • Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in UltraTax and Thomson Reuters software is preferred
