Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee medical billing, coding, and payment posting 
  • Audit patient treatment codes
  • Perform problem-solving related to medical billing and coding
  • Operate technology, including spreadsheet software
  • Assist with refiling, utilizing accurate codes and supporting materials for reimbursements 

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma is required
  • Prior experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of medical codes including CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and modifiers
  • Coding Certificate preferred 
  • Exposure to various insurance programs is ideal
